Amanda is a bilingual Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern who earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2023. She has experience working with adolescents and adults in community mental health settings, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, behavioral concerns, and interpersonal challenges.
Amanda believes therapy should be individualized, collaborative, and centered around each client’s unique experiences and goals. She utilizes approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed interventions, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based techniques to help clients develop insight, healthier coping skills, and greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges. Amanda’s style is warm, supportive, and direct, with a focus on helping clients feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
Amanda specializes in anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, emotional regulation, life transitions, relationship stress, burnout, grief, and identity and self-growth. While she particularly enjoys working with teens and young adults, Amanda welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and stages of life, tailoring therapy to meet each client’s individual needs and experiences.
