Angelica is a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. From a young age, Angelica has been drawn to understanding people’s stories and helping them find strength through life’s challenges. That passion led her to pursue a career in mental health, where she could combine compassion with evidence-based care. Throughout her experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, Angelica has seen how meaningful change happens when people feel truly heard and supported.
Angelica believes therapy is a collaborative process where clients are the experts of their own lives. She integrates practical tools with empathy and insight to help clients gain new perspectives, manage life’s challenges, and build lasting resilience. Drawing from a person-centered approach and incorporating CBT and mindfulness techniques, Angelica creates sessions that foster understanding, curiosity, and empowerment—where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves.
Angelica has experience working with clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship concerns, life transitions, and issues related to self-esteem. No matter the concern, Angelica is dedicated to meeting each client where they are and supporting them in developing the tools and confidence needed to create meaningful and lasting growth
