Elise earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Before becoming a therapist, she spent over a decade in New York City’s media industry, where she developed strong skills in collaboration, communication, and resilience. Her lifelong connection to dance also informs her understanding of the mind-body relationship and the ways movement, emotion, and identity intersect in healing.
Elise’s style is genuine, collaborative, and grounded in trauma-informed care and psychodynamic perspectives. She integrates IFS, CBT, ACT, and somatic practices to create a creative and personalized experience for each client. Mindfulness and body-based awareness are central to her work, helping clients deepen their connection to themselves and their emotions. Elise strives to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and real - in order to heal. Together you can explore your story, strengthen your sense of self, move toward greater fulfillment, and maybe even laugh or dance.
Elise specializes in supporting individuals navigating life transitions and identity shifts, including adolescence, new parenthood, career changes, and healing from trauma. She also works with clients experiencing low self-esteem, perfectionism, body image concerns, and burnout who are ready to reconnect with themselves and create meaningful change.
